Maciej Maciagowski’s GODDNADOG is a distillation of his preoccupation with pet muzak that he listened to on Youtube, scraps of aural recontextualisations hovering through the online nethersphere somewhere beyond past and future with traces vaporwave and James Ferraro, IDM-influenced inflections and glitchy beat-driven delineations. Utilising neutral and soft timbres associated with the genre, he would then add acid synths, drum sounds and glitches. The structure is wobbly and unsteady, each part playing separately, each in its own tempo, at times using Euclidean rhythms. Exaggerated arrangements and timid melodies become soundtracks for surreal fairy tales.
